PROGRAM LEARNING OUTCOMES AND COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES FOR D.El.Ed
The program learning outcomes and the course learning outcomes have been clearly stated. These are in accordance with the syllabi prescribed by SCERT, Bihar. D.El.Ed. program intends at preparing professionally trained teacher educators for the elementary level. The program is designed to enable teacher educators to develop insight on socio, psychological and philosophical perspectives, pedagogical knowledge and skills for effective teaching learning process. Moreover, it also aims at developing appropriate attitude and values towards teaching profession.
PROGRAM LEARNING OUTCOMES
1.To critically analyze the interconnectedness of society, education, and the curriculum.
2. To apply foundational theories of child development, cognition, and learning to design and deliver effective, contextually relevant lessons.
3. To plan, implement, and evaluate teaching strategies for a range of subjects, including English, Hindi, Mathematics, and EVS, for primary grades (Grade 1-5).
4. To plan, implement, and evaluate teaching strategies for a range of subjects, including English, Hindi, Mathematics, Science, Social Science, Sanskrit, Urdu, Maithili, and Bangalafor higher primary grades (Grade 6-8).
5. To proficiently use ICT and art-integrated approaches in their teaching practice.
6.To foster a gender-sensitive and inclusive classroom culture that supports all learners, including those with diverse needs.
7.To demonstrate professional conduct, reflective practice, and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
